Responsibilities: The Department of Physics at Florida State University invites applications for a full-time two-year postdoctoral fellowship (renewable for an additional year) in quantum condensed matter theory. Candidates with research interests in any of the following areas of quantum condensed matter theory will be preferred: nonequilibrium physics, strongly correlated electron systems, magnetism, disordered systems, theoretical and computational modeling of neutron scattering, and computational methods. Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate strong aptitude for theoretical research and closely collaborate with ongoing experimental efforts at Brown University.

The successful candidate will be based in the Department of Physics at Florida State University in Tallahassee (with a joint courtesy appointment at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory) and will work with the condensed matter theory group of Dr. Hitesh Changlani.
