Position Description
A postdoctoral associate position is available immediately to join an interdisciplinary project focused on the evolutionary genomics of primates in the Wray Lab. The position will focus on adaptation to environment and disease in howler monkeys. Howler monkeys are the largest and widest-spread platyrrhine, inhabiting a range of environments and acting as a reservoir for human-infecting diseases. The candidate will analyze genomic data from dozens to hundreds of primate samples and assist with functional follow-up of candidate loci. Clear evidence of past research productivity is required, and strong communication skills are expected. This position requires a PhD.
