Position Description

The Homer L. Dodge Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Center for Quantum Research and Technology at the University of Oklahoma invite applications for three postdoctoral positions and one research scientist position. Two Postdoctoral Associate positions are in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics (CMP). The first postdoctoral research associate position, under the direction of Prof. Bruno Uchoa, will broadly collaborate with Center theorists on topics related to topological matters, electronic interactions, quantum simulation, quantum information, many-body quantum entanglement and out-of-equilibrium physics. This position is made possible by the generous support of the Dodge Family Postdoctoral Research Fellows Fund.

The second postdoctoral position is in the research group of Prof. Tsung-Cheng Lu, which would also involve research in the above areas.

The initial appointment for each or the positions above is for two years, with the possibility of renewal for a third year, contingent on satisfactory performance and continued funding. The start date for the appointment is flexible, with appointments starting as early as August 1, 2026.
