Recruiting Unit: National Taiwan University AI Center of Research Excellence (NTU AI-CoRE) https://aicore.ntu.edu.tw/ Position Titles and Number of Openings: Up to four tenure-track faculty positions that are equivalent to the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, expected to start on February 1st, 2027 or August 1st, 2027 Openings and Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in an artificial intelligence-related field and show a strong commitment to research, teaching, and service. Early-career scholars are particularly encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates will be invited for interviews and external review of publications, followed by evaluation through three levels of faculty review committees. Formal offers will be extended upon approval. * During the review process, the Center generally coordinates a joint appointment review with either the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering or the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University, based on the applicant's preference. Subject to approval by the relevant departmental review committees, the Center and the department will jointly determine the rights and responsibilities associated with the appointment in accordance with applicable departmental faculty policies. * Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Early application is strongly encouraged. Applications will be processed in mini-batches. * All application materials are used solely for recruitment-related purposes. After the completion of the hiring process, all personnel data will be periodically destroyed. In addition to the Ministry of Education's base monthly salary and academic research allowance, as well as the Center's merit-based supplements, eligible faculty may also apply for programs such as the Ministry of Education Yushan (Young) Scholar Program, the National Science and Technology Council Young Scholar Project, and NTU incentives for newly hired outstanding talent, flexible compensation supplements, and additional teaching and research allowances.
