Applicants are expected to conduct research in theoretical physics related to quantum field theory and string theory. Research areas of particular interest include (but are not restricted to): supersymmetry, gauge/gravity duality, integrability, scattering amplitudes in super-Yang-Mills and supergravity, cosmology, and string phenomenology.
Employment will initially be for 2 years, with the possibility of extension for a third year.
The applicant must hold a PhD degree in theoretical physics or an equivalent title. While all applications will be considered, candidates who received their PhD in the past three years are especially encouraged to apply.
The application should contain a cover letter mentioning the applicant’s research area, a CV, a brief research statement, and a publication list. The applicant should arrange to have two letters of recommendation submitted through AcademicJobsOnline.
