|The Department of English at Brandeis University invites applications for a full-time lecturer appointment in the University Writing Program, beginning Fall 2017. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field. The successful candidate will be an innovative, experienced teacher responsible for teaching three introductory-level writing seminars per term. We seek dynamic educators who wish to play an active role in shaping the future of the program. PhD is required, preferably with Rhetoric/Composition or comparable experience. The position is full-time, benefits-eligible, and outside the tenure structure. The initial appointment could be up to three years, with the potential for renewal.
