Principal Investigator position in Cancer Immunology/Immunotherapy at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer Université de Montréal

The Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine of the Université de Montréal (UdeM) invites applications for a Principal Investigator position in the broad domain of Cancer Immunology/Immunotherapy. IRIC and UdeM are committed to developing world class expertise in this field. The new Principal Investigator will play a pivotal role in complementing the research strengths of the Institute.

Specifically, outstanding applications are sought in the areas of human or other mammalian models, antigen discovery, presentation and targeting, immune tolerance and immune checkpoints, pharmacogenomics, chimeric antigen receptors, biologics, small molecule-antibody conjugates, small molecules/immunotherapy combinations.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, and have a strong publication record. Candidates will be expected to develop an innovative, internationally recognized, externally funded research program. IRIC - UdeM offers competitive recruitment packages commensurate with experience and qualifications, a research intensive environment, state-of-the art facilities and competitive graduate training programs. The new Principal Investigator will be cross-appointed in a Department of the Faculty of Medicine of UdeM.

The primary objective of IRIC is to elucidate the molecular underpinnings of cancer and to devise innovative approaches to cure cancer.
