Assistant Professor, Business

Full-Time, Permanent Position, commencing August 2018

Position Description: Benedictine University at Mesa is seeking a full-time faculty member in Business, in support of our undergraduate programs in accounting, personal financial planning and management and organizational behavior.  Teaching is the primary focus of the position. Specific responsibilities will include:

             Teaching undergraduate courses in personal finance, accounting, corporate finance, and business analytics.

             Academic advising.

             Managing adjunct faculty.

             Assisting the undergraduate division chair in the implementation of the curriculum of study.

             Participating in faculty meetings and University service.

             Engaging in research and scholarship. Involving undergraduate students in research is strongly encouraged.


Qualifications: Candidates should have a PhD or DBA in personal finance, accounting, managerial finance, or business analytics.  Significant experience in post-secondary teaching is strongly desired. Applicants must have legal authority to work in the United States at the time of appointment.  Benedictine University at Mesa will not sponsor work visa applications.
