Field Research Assistant

The Alberts lab in the Biology Department at Duke University is looking for one field research assistant to collect body size data from a baboons in Amboseli, Kenya. This is a full-time position from June-December 2019.

Responsibilities and requirements: • Collect photogrammetry data and other noninvasive body size data of baboons while in the field. • Ensure that all data are identified. • Complete daily data storage.

Qualifications: • Applicant must have a background in photography, biology or anthropology. • Priority to applicants with previous experience with related research. • Experience traveling/living abroad, or experience performing field work.

Position will pay a small monthly stipend.
