Postdoctoral positions are immediately available in the laboratory of Drs. Conrad Hodgkinson and Victor Dzau at Duke University. We are seeking to recruit productive junior post doctoral associates with a demonstrated potential to develop an independent research career. Candidates with skills in microRNA research, stem cell biology, Crispr gene editing, or induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) technology and who possess an experience appropriate publication record are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will conduct independent studies in cardiovascular sciences utilizing cutting edge technologies to address significant clinical problems. As such these projects are highly competitive for the postdoc to faculty transitional funding mechanisms at various agencies such as the NIH, NSF, and the AHA. The lab is well funded and has been recognized for significant contributions to the field of cellular reprogramming and stem cell therapy. The cardiovascular division at Duke offers a highly diverse and collaborative academic environment with state of the art core facilities.
