The Master’s Program in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University (Durham, NC) invites applications for a Non Regular Rank (NRR) Executive in Residence position. The Pratt School of Engineering is seeking an Executive in Residence to lead and mange a degree track focused on Programs in Technical and Computational Areas. Successful candidates will be expected to: • Develop and oversee a world class interdisciplinary master’s program in Technical and Computational Areas • Manage the TechComp program operations and ensure operational excellence • Teach 2-3 courses each year within the curriculum • Collaborate across department and school boundaries • Identify and hire innovative faculty to teach the curriculum • Develop and deliver applications oriented courses related to TechComp • Connect and engage with industry partners regarding capstone projects, career opportunities, seminar discussions, and participation in an industrial advisory board

Ideal candidates would have Technical and Computational Areas of experience in either an academic or corporate setting. They would also have a PhD or commensurate industry experience/expertise in a similarly related discipline, such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or Business, as well as teaching/course development experience. This position is expected to be full time, but other levels of commitment may be considered.
