UMass T.H. Chan Medical School, located in Worcester (Central Massachusetts), is a 67-acre integrated health science facility and freestanding university-based academic health science campus. Nursing Faculty Position in Nursing and Interprofessional Leadership (IPL-N) Master of Science Program:
Assistant/Associate Professor
Full-Time (12 months)
The Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing invites applicants for a full-time, 12-month faculty appointment to teach in the upcoming Nursing & Interprofessional Leadership Master of Science program beginning the Fall of 2022. The Nursing & Interprofessional Leadership program is a newly designed program to prepare learners who are practicing registered nurses to lead and navigate complex health issues within various health care environments in the promotion of health and well-being of populations.
Applicants with experience in organization and systems leadership are encouraged to apply. The scope of responsibilities includes participation in the implementation, evaluation and revision of the curriculum and relevant policies, teaching, learner advisement, scholarship, and participation in program and school-related committees and activities.
Successful candidates will have a PhD in Nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), program of practice and/or scholarship; prior teaching experience and experience in online course development preferred; and eligibility for RN and/or NP licensure in Massachusetts.
Salary and rank commensurate with previous experience.
