The successful candidate is expected to develop and maintain a robust and independent research program, receive extramural research funding, effectively teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, actively contribute to outreach, recruitment and retention initiatives, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students. Qualified candidates in observational, computational, theoretical, and instrumental astrophysics or astronomy, and related fields including but not limited to cosmology, particle astrophysics, nuclear astrophysics, planetary science, space physics, astronautics, are encouraged to apply.
