We invite applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Research Associate position in theoretical quantum physics within the group of Prof. Shao-Kai Jian at Tulane University. The successful candidate is expected to work in quantum many-body physics, non-equilibrium physics, or quantum information theory. In particular, current research interests of the group include quantum entanglement, quantum chaos, open quantum systems, emergent phenomena in quantum systems etc. Candidates should have rich research experience and a strong publication record in theoretical quantum physics with an emphasis on quantum chaos, critical phenomena, or quantum dynamics.
The annual salary for this position is about 58.5k. Applicants before January 31, 2023 will receive full considerations. The review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. before the start date with a background in theoretical condensed matter physics, quantum information science, theoretical high energy physics, or a closely related field. |
