The McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor in the field of public policy.

The McCourt School has a particular interest in applicants whose research and teaching expertise focus on applying innovative research to find solutions to important public policy problems. Environmental policy (domestic or comparative) and comparative policymaking are two areas where we have especially strong needs.

We expect the applicant to have a Ph.D. by the time they start; the Ph.D. could be in political science, policy, sociology, economics or related fields.

Applications can be submitted here. The committee will begin considering applications on September 15th and will continue to do so until the position is filled.

A small number of candidates may be interviewed at the American Political Science Association meeting in Boston. Applicants who submit their applications by August 25th who wish to be considered for APSA interviews should indicate their availability in their cover letter.
