The Physics Department of College of Sciences, Northeastern University (NEU), located in Shenyang, Liaoning China. Northeastern University (NEU) is a national key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education, formerly supported by Project 211 and Project 985. In September 2017, NEU was selected as a university of the "double first-class" initiative under the State Council. The Department of Physics offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, as well as postdoctoral fellowships in first-class disciplines. Currently, the department has 50 faculty members, 30 of whom are full/associate professors, and enrolls more than 500 students, including 360 undergraduates, 120 master's students, and 50 Ph.D. students.

The Department of Physics hereby invites applications for Full/Associate Professor positions to be filled by candidates with outstanding accomplishments or potential for academic excellence in all areas of physics.

Applicants for Full/Associate Professor positions are required to have a Ph.D. degree with two and more years of postdoctoral research experience; and applicants are subject to the same requirements for assuming a Full Professor (Associate Professor) position at an internationally recognized university; The Department will offer a salary commensurate with the overall quality of the applicants, in the range of RMB 250,000~300,000/yr. for the Full Professor position and 200,000~230,000/yr. for the Associate Professor position.
