The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is a dynamic new university established 29 years ago, but already highly ranked (41st in 2019 Times University World Rankings, 32nd in 2020 QS World University Rankings). The University is building up a particle theory and cosmology (PTC) group with faculty members so far affiliated with HKUST (Department of Physics and/or IAS) including Andrew Cohen, Tao Liu, George Smoot, Henry Tye and Yi Wang. We invite applications for theoretical and/or experimental postdoctoral positions effective from September 2020 in the areas of particle theory, LHC phenomenology, string theory, theoretical cosmology and observational cosmology, broadly defined. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
