This unique two-year fellowship, starting in Fall 2025, offers an extraordinary opportunity for emerging scholars and curators to advance their academic and curatorial careers in a vibrant and supportive environment. About the Fellowship: We are seeking a dynamic and innovative scholar who specializes in Asian American art history and the art of Asian diasporas. As a Florence Levy Kay Fellow, you will: • Teach and Inspire: Design and teach one course per year in your area of specialization, sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with our diverse student body. • Curate and Create: Spend your Fall semesters researching and planning a groundbreaking exhibition at the Rose Art Museum, supported by our experienced museum staff. • Engage and Collaborate: Contribute to the vibrant intellectual life at Brandeis by engaging with faculty, students, and the wider community through your research, teaching, and curatorial work. Qualifications: • PhD in Art History or a related field, with a focus on Asian, Asian American, or Asian diasporas art, by August 2025. • Demonstrated excellence in scholarly research and teaching. • Museum experience is desirable. Fellowship Benefits: • Annual salary of $64,000 plus benefits. • Research fund of $4,000 per year. • $1,500 for relocation expenses.
