Position Description:
The Ezra Systems Scholars Initiative invites applications
for multiple Post-Doctoral Associate positions in the specialized field of
Energy Systems Engineering. This opportunity is based in Ithaca, New York,
where successful candidates will engage in full-time research under the primary
mentorship of Dr. Fengqi You, the Roxanne E. and Michael J. Zak Professor in
Energy Systems Engineering, in collaboration with relevant faculty in the
Systems Field. We welcome candidates with experience and interests in areas
including, but not limited to:
- Energy systems decarbonization
- Smart energy systems
- Climate mitigation strategies
- Life cycle analysis/optimization of energy systems
- Integrated assessment models of energy systems
- Industrial ecology of energy systems

Support and Benefit
Ezra Systems Post-Doctoral Associates receive a competitive annual stipend commensurate with their level of experience and eligibility to participate in Cornell’s health benefits program.
Hiring Range: $56,484 - $80,000 based on Education and Experience.

Pay Ranges:
The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:
- Prior relevant work or industry experience.
- Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.
- Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)
