Duke University, Biomedical Engineering
Position Description
ODE Summer Program Outreach Design Education (ODE) collaborates with middle and high school teachers to create engineering design-centric curricula for their regular classrooms. Several of these teachers have developed a significant understanding of the engineering design process and are using these approaches to enhance their instruction beyond our initial interactions I would like to work with these teachers again, in an expanded capacity in the upcoming year. The teachers will be joining us again for the ODE summer design camp, helping their fellow teachers to develop engineering design educational content and creating lessons plans or teacher training workshops to further expand our efforts to introduce engineering design to regular STEM classrooms.Duke is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing employment opportunity without regard to an individual's age, color, disability, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, race, religion, (including pregnancy and pregnancy related conditions), sexual orientation, or military status.
