Position Description
A joint Associate in Research position (hourly, 40-hr a week) is open in the Mazo-Vargas and Lipshutz labs in the Duke University Biology Department. Requirements include a BS/BA in Biology or related field; excellent communication and organizational skills; and a 2-year time commitment. One to three years of experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and RNA extraction are required. Duties include assistance with ongoing research projects and lab managerial functions such as ordering, safety, SOP’s, etc. To apply: upload cover letter, CV and contact information for at least three references (name, affiliation, and email address).
