Tenure-Track Faculty Position (Assistant Professor)

The Department of Integrative Immunobiology (https://immunobiology.duke.edu/) and Pharmacology and Cancer Biology (https://pcb.duke.edu/) at the Duke University School of Medicine jointly invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position in tumor immunology. Successful candidates will have a strong interest in understanding the function of the immune system and how it interfaces with tumors, focusing on its relevance to cancer development and therapy. The Department of Integrative Immunobiology and the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology share the research mission to understand the immune system's function in modulating tumor initiation and progression and apply this knowledge to prevent and treat cancers by integrating cellular and molecular immunity mechanisms. Qualifications: Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. Successful candidates will have track records of creativity and productivity, a desire to integrate into our exciting, collaborative, and growing community, and a dedication to contributing to our values of equity and service. They will be expected to mount a productive and innovative research program, obtain outside research funding, and participate in graduate and post-graduate training and mentoring.
