The VEGA (Valencia Experimental Group of Astroparticles) group at IFIC (Valencia, Spain) offers a 3+1-year Ph.D. fellowship to work in the experiment KM3NeT (http://km3net.org) on multi-messenger astronomy.

IFIC (Instituto de Física Corpuscular, http://webific.ific.uv.es/web/en) is the largest particle physics research centre in Spain and was recognized by the Program "Severo Ochoa Centers of Excellence".

The VEGA team at IFIC has a long experience in KM3NeT and ANTARES, located in the Mediterranean Sea. Our group has led the several analyses on the topic in these collaborations and have held coordination positions in them. The first 50+ lines of KM3NeT are already taking data and more will be deployed in the following months, which will allow us to explore this new paradigm in astronomy, for which neutrino telescopes have a key role. The candidate would start her/his Ph.D. work at the University of Valencia in the academic year 2024/2025. She/he should have completed her/his master studies by 1/1/2025.
