Position Description
The High-Energy Physics (HEP) Group at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. The successful candidate will play a leadership role in searches for physics beyond the Standard Model, machine learning applications, and Phase-2 trigger upgrades.
UIUC is a top 10 U.S. physics university whose HEP program benefits from the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) and the Illinois Center for Advanced Study of the Universe (ICASU), providing the candidate with access to world-class computational and AI resources as well as a vibrant physics community and connections with Fermilab and Argonne National Laboratory.
