Position Description:
The Department of Physics and Astronomy (
https://pa.as.uky.edu/) in the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Kentucky seeks to fill a tenure-eligible faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in the field of Theoretical Physics. This is a 9-month position in the regular title series with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2025. We encourage candidates whose research portfolios include work on applications of quantum information theory, broadly defined, to quantum many-body physics, quantum field theory, or quantum gravity to apply.
A Ph.D. in Physics or a related field is required. A record of research excellence is expected.
