ATTENDING PSYCHIATRIST POSITION, WORCESTER RECOVERY CENTER AND HOSPITAL WORCESTER RECOVERY CENTER AND HOSPITAL and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School (UMass Chan)seeks a full-time (40 hours per week) board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrist to serve at the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital in Worcester, MA. Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital (WRCH) is a state-of-the-art hospital that cares for adults with severe mental health conditions in our continuing care and acute forensic units. The selected candidate will be recommended for a UMass Chan faculty appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor based on qualifications. Academic Opportunities: - Supervision of psychiatry fellows, psychiatry residents and medical students. Department support for leadership training, research, and other academic endeavors through various UMass Chan-sponsored programs. - Various CME activities, including grand rounds, journal clubs, law and psychiatry lectures, and DMH-sponsored trainings, workshops and events.
