Applications are invited for a Project Researcher position at the Kavli IPMU (WPI), the University of Tokyo.
The Position is dedicated to the study of quantum simulations in high energy theory and is funded by an external grant from the IBM sponsored research at UTokyo on “Dynamic Circuits for Quantum Simulations in High Energy Physics and Beyond.” We seek individuals who conduct theoretical research in collaboration with Masahito Yamazaki at Kavli IPMU.
The appointment will start from August 2024 or later, through the end of March 2026. The salary will be at the level of JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (Gakushin- PD). Some travel fund will also be provided. The applicant should have a Ph.D. in physics or related areas by the starting date of the position.
