The Yale School of Management (SOM) is soliciting applications for tenure-track faculty in Macro Organizational Behavior (OB) at the rank of either Assistant or Associate Professor. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree (or will earn the degree within one semester from the start of the appointment) in Macro Organizational Behavior or in broadly related fields.

The selected candidate(s) will be expected to conduct high-quality research, representing early demonstration of intellectual leadership, in their area of study. The position also requires teaching graduate- and/or Ph.D.-level courses and advising and mentoring graduate students.

The mission of SOM is to educate leaders for business and society. Faculty in the organizational behavior group embody this mission in their scholarship, teaching, and service. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to the OB group and School of Management.

Appointment terms This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position located at the Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut. Appointments will be made for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, beginning July 1, 2025.

In addition to new Ph.D.’s, we are eager to consider qualified candidates who have been in an academic position for a few years. Appointment as Associate Professor (tenure-track) may be possible for more experienced applicants who meet the University’s qualifications for that rank.
