| The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is a dynamic new university established only 30 years ago, but already highly ranked (66th in 2022 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, 34th in 2022 QS World University Rankings). The University has established the Center for Fundamental Physics with faculty members so far affiliated with HKUST (Department of Physics) and/or the IAS including Andrew Cohen, Tao Liu, Kam Biu Luk, Kirill Prokofiev, George Smoot, Henry Tye and Yi Wang. We invite applications for postdoctoral position(s) effective from July 2022 in the areas of particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology, both theory and exp/obs, broadly defined (duration: 2 years, renewable upon mutual agreement). Please note, one of the positions is joint with Donostia International Physics Center in Spain (Prof. Tom Broadhurst) and its appointee is expected to participate in JWST data analyzing, lensing modeling and/or observation simulating (see http://cfp.ust.hk/crf for details). Starting salary for all positions is highly competitive and will be commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experiences.
