| The Questrom School of Business at Boston University anticipates an opening for a non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant Professor trained in Machine Learning and Data Science techniques. Pending Provost budgetary approval, the anticipated start date for this faculty position is July 1, 2022.
We seek outstanding candidates who would be comfortable in, stimulated by, and engage with the vibrant cross-disciplinary community of data science. Candidates with relevant experience in the industry are encouraged to apply. Faculty will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in analytics and contribute to cross-disciplinary curriculum development activities.

Required Skills
Candidates with a PhD in core business-oriented disciplines with expertise in the methods of Machine Learning and Data Science; or with a PhD in any Data Science related discipline, Computer Science or Statistics whose expertise focuses on problems of significant interest to business or social science communities, are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate upon hiring may have an appointment at a department in Questrom School of Business, such as Information Systems, Marketing, Markets, Public Policy and Law, or Operations Management, that is close to the candidates’ area of expertise.
