Position Description: |
The University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time, board certified/board eligible psychiatrist for the Brockton Multi-Service Center in
Brockton, MA. This facility operates an outpatient clinic (approximately 550 patients) at the
primary site in Brockton and about 80 patients at the satellite clinic in Plymouth. BMSC
provides a range of high quality, individualized psychiatric services to adults with long-term
or serious mental illness. The BMSC provides a continuum of services including PACT,
Community Based Flexible Support, and Case Management in addition to the outpatient
clinical services. BMSC is also a training site for UMMS Psychiatry Residents and medical
students, as well as the Harvard South Shore Psychiatry Residency Training Program. Our Department has worked to make these family friendly positions, with weekdays only
schedule, excellent state benefits and pension plan. No call (except voluntary for additional
compensation), no weekends, nights, or holidays. Enjoy 13 paid state and federal holidays,
4 weeks of paid vacation, 2 personal days, and $3,000 annual practice allowance.
Successful candidates will receive a faculty appointment and access to Departmental
support for clinical, training, and research purposes. The department sponsors weekly CME
