The Department of Political Science at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in International Relations at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointment will begin in Autumn 2023. We are interested in candidates with scholarly interests in the areas of international political economy, international organization, political psychology of international relations, and human security. Candidates are expected to have strong methodological training.
Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate excellence in research, teaching, and mentorship. Responsibilities of the position include maintaining an active research program, including actively seeking external funding, contributing to graduate and undergraduate teaching, mentoring, and engaged service to the university and the profession. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Applicants must have completed all doctoral degree requirements by the time of their appointment. Appointment is contingent on the university's verification of credentials and other information required by law and/or university policies, including but not limited to a criminal background check.
