Position Description
Cisco Quantum Lab invites applications for postdoctoral researcher and intern positions in theoretical quantum photonics. The appointments may begin as soon as Fall 2022. Research positions at Cisco provide an excellent opportunity to work on groundbreaking research in different areas of quantum information and to connect with a network of world-class research groups. As part of the team, you contribute to research projects, develop working prototypes of systems, and publish papers in conferences and journals.Cisco Quantum Lab, part of Emerging Technologies and Incubation (ET&I) Group, is passionate about identifying breakthrough emerging solutions that build new markets and businesses for Cisco. The team also continues to progress through Cisco's significant work with standard bodies and manages research partnerships with leading-edge universities.

Minimum Requirements:
- Ph.D. in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of fundamentals of quantum information processing.
- Proficient in one or many of the following languages (Python, Julia, C++).
- Research experience in quantum photonics, measurement-based quantum computing, and/or quantum algorithms.
- A strong research track record demonstrated by peer-reviewed and conference publications.
