Sessional Lecturer Positions – Winter Term 2.

The University of British Columbia (Vancouver), invites applications from outstanding individuals for teaching courses within the Department of Computer Science. The Department seeks multiple Sessional Lecturers to teach individual courses in winter term 2 (January to April 2023).

The Department will consider applicants with previous teaching experience in a post-secondary setting. We will consider applicants for the specific courses CPSC 121: Models of Computation, CPSC 221: Basic Algorithms and Data Structures, CPSC 330: Applied Machine Learning, CPSC 340: Machine Learning and Data Mining, and CPSC 416: Distributed Systems. (Brief descriptions of all courses are available in the UBC Calendar ( A Masters or equivalent in Computer Science or related areas is required, with a preference to applicants who possess a PhD. We welcome applications from computer scientists who are active in industry, and in some cases, it may be possible to arrange evening lecture sections to accommodate work schedules.
