3 years postdoctoral position in theoretical physics at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai.The department of Theoretical Physics at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai invites applications for multiple postdoctoral positions in the broad area of Theoretical Physics. Appointments will be for one year but can be renewed for maximum up to three years. Benefits in addition to the salary include medical support inside the campus and possibly on campus housing.Candidates with more that one year of postdoctoral experience and with exceptional academic records will be considered for a prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru post-doctoral fellowship which has internationally competitive salary. Successful candidates will carry out research at the Theoretical Physics department and will have opportunities to collaborate with the members of the department, who work in topics including cosmology and astroparticle physics, condensed matter and statistical physics, electroweak particle physics, strong interaction physics including lattice QCD, string theory and mathematical physics.
