The Animal Health Diagnostic Center (AHDC) and the Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, invite applications for a full-time, assistant or associate professor of practice faculty position in Veterinary Support Services (VSS).

The successful candidate will be based at the AHDC & New York State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in Ithaca, NY. The AHDC is a full-service, multidisciplinary, animal disease diagnostic laboratory in the State of New York. It is dedicated to improving animal health and preventing diseases or conditions that might impact animal and human health.

Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be a member of a team of four veterinarians responsible for facilitating the use of veterinary diagnostic laboratory services to support individual and population animal health. The AHDC VSS team serves as translator and interpreter of testing data and assists veterinary practitioners with selection of appropriate testing strategies, and application of diagnostic test results to disease control and surveillance management strategies for a wide range of animal species and populations.
