The Department of Psychiatry at the UMass Chan Medical School (UMass Chan) invites applications for
a faculty position in the Implementation Science and Practice Advances Research Center (iSPARC) at the
Assistant, Associate, or Full professor level. We are seeking researchers focused on behavioral health
(mental health and/or addictions) topics. Strong candidates will have additional expertise in; children, adolescents, or young adults with behavioral health conditions; behavioral health disparities; or behavioral health interventions for underserved or marginalized racial/ethnic populations. Research may address population, policy, treatment, services, or implementation topics. The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree with a demonstrated record of behavioral health research and a track record of extramural funding support commensurate with faculty level. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to education and scholarship, collaborative research, obtaining extramural funding, working collegially with faculty, staff and trainees from diverse cultural backgrounds, and conducting research with diverse populations.
