The quantum information theory group at the Institut de Physique théorique (IPhT, CEA Saclay) invites applications for a three-year postdoctoral position, to begin in March 2023. The post-doctoral researcher may work on simulations, emulations, benchmark and certification of noisy quantum devices. This includes in particular the use of many-body state compression with tensor networks, the numerical simulations of interacting qubits subject to decoherence (Lindblad equation), the development of entanglement witnesses, or the construction of protocols to certify the operation of quantum processors or quantum simulators and to quantify their degree of quantum entanglement. The applications should be submitted via the AcademicJobsOnline portal. Applications should include a CV, a list of publications, and a brief research statement. Applicants should arrange for submission of two letters of reference. All materials should be uploaded electronically to AcademicJobsOnline. Applications should be received by December 15th, 2022 in order to receive full consideration. For more information contact N. Sangouard [nicolas.sangouard@ipht.fr] or G.
