Postdoctoral positions in experiment or theory in biophysics, soft matter, statistical mechanics, complex systems and related research fields are available in the Physics of Active and Biological Systems (PABS) group in the Institute of Physics (http://www.phys.sinica.edu.tw), Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. The PBAS group is interested in a broad range of research topics, including but not limited to: - cellular dynamics and tissue mechanics - micro/nano fluidics - active matters - population dynamics and evolutionary ecology - non-equilibrium statistical mechanics - pattern formation - fluid dynamics, complex fluids, and biological hydrodynamics - granular flows - rehology and microrehology of soft and living materials - physics of biomolecules and polymers The successful applicants will have the flexibility to work with the faculty members in PABS, including Hong-Yan Shih, Keng-hui Lin, Chiafu Chou, Jih-Chang Tsai, Chin-Lin Guo, Jung-Ren Huang, Kwan-Tai Leung and Kiwing To, and are encouraged to collaborate and interact with other research groups in Taiwan or international institutes.
