We invite applications for a postdoctoral position in theoretical high energy physics with emphasis on String Theory and Holography at the Friedrich-Schiller Universtiy of Jena, Germany starting Fall 2023 (or earlier).

The successful candidate will join the Institute of Theoretical Physics to work with Prof. Martin Ammon. The group covers a wide range of topics within holographic dualities including applications to strongly coupled quantum field theories, quantum gravity aspects of holographic dualities and holography in asymptotically flat spacetime.

The position is initially for two years and may be renewable for a third one subject to performance.
