The Department of Physics invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in Topological phases of quantum matter and Tensor network simulation for strongly correlated electron systems.

Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Physics or related fields; (ii) research experience in relevant fields; and (iii) demonstrated record of research accomplishments.

The appointee will work in Professor Zhengcheng Gu's group. Information about relevant research in the Department can be found in http://www.phy.cuhk.edu.hk.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years, renewable subject to mutual agreement. A taxable annual salary starting from HKD 40,0000 (approximately USD50,955) will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience

The expected start date of the appointment will be no later than September 2022. Applications will be accepted until the post is filled.
