We Are:
The Fermilab Neutrino Physics Center (NPC) is a community organization that facilitates communication and collaboration throughout the international neutrino physics community. The NPC's fellowship program brings experimentalists working on Fermilab experiments and neutrino theorists to Fermilab to engage with the neutrino community at the Lab.

Fermilab is America’s premier laboratory for particle physics and accelerator research, funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. We support discovery science experiments in Illinois and at locations around the world, including deep underground mines in South Dakota and Canada, mountaintops in Arizona and Chile, and the South Pole.

Open Date: February 28th, 2023
Close Date: April 10th, 2023

The NPC Fellowship is designed to bring neutrino researchers (experimentalists and theorists) to Fermilab. For experimentalists, awards are made for hardware and software projects. For theorists, the awards are made for neutrino theory or phenomenology related to the Fermilab neutrino program, interpreted in a broad sense. Fermilab’s Neutrino Division has a strong and exciting research program with major commitments to a diverse range of current and future neutrino experiments, including DUNE, NOvA, MicroBooNE, SBN (SBND and ICARUS detectors), and ANNIE. Additional information on the Fermilab neutrino program can be found here: http://neutrinophysics.fnal.gov/. NPC awards are intended to support researchers for short and medium-term stays at Fermilab, ranging from two weeks to 6 months.

A successful award typically provides: travel to and from Fermilab, housing support at Fermilab, per diem during time at Fermilab, and support for transportation around Fermilab.
