The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department of the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at Lehigh University invites applications for a non-tenure track, term faculty position appointed as professor of practice or teaching track depending on experience in the general areas of computer engineering and/or electrical engineering. The successful candidate will not only support teaching needs in the Computer Engineering Program, but will also have a partial assignment to the interdisciplinary capstone design program in order to facilitate connections between the ECE Department and the capstone program. They will have the opportunity to teach in one or more of the following areas: embedded and real time systems, field programmable gate arrays (FPGA), computer architecture, Internet of Things (IoT), microcontroller, machine learning, photonics, semiconductor, electromagnetics, and other related topics. This person will also be expected to contribute to and enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs and activities. Applicants must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
