Postdoctoral Positions in Theoretical Physics at IFIC (CSIC-University of Valencia).

The Instituto de Física Corpuscular, IFIC, a joint research institute of the Spanish Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Valencia, invites applications for SIX POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS IN THEORETICAL PARTICLE PHYSICS with starting date in the fall of 2023 (please note the early appointment).

The research interests of the theory groups at IFIC cover a wide variety of topics in theoretical particle physics such as particle physics phenomenology in the Standard Model and beyond (including collider, flavour, Higgs and neutrino physics), QCD and strong interactions, lattice QCD, effective field theories in hadron and nuclear physics, astroparticle physics, cosmology, dark matter, gravitation and black holes, gravitational waves, quantum information.

The IFIC also hosts very strong experimental groups which participate in several international experiments in particle, astroparticle and nuclear physics as well as in the applications of these disciplines to other fields of science and technology.

Applicants are expected to have a competitive research track record in theoretical particle physics, and a strong commitment to pursue forefront research lines.
