The Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Biophysics (https://www.bumc.bu.edu/PPB) at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is seeking to recruit a new faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with an innovative basic or translational cancer biology research program. Candidates must hold a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree and have a proven record of past and current extramural research funding in these areas. Scientists with an interest in the broad areas of cancer cell biology, epigenetics, immunology, genome stability, and/or experimental therapeutics are strongly encouraged to apply. It is expected that the candidate will establish a vibrant and externally-funded research program that trains PhD, MD, and MA students. The Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is part of the Boston University Medical Campus and has 660 medical students and a similar number of graduate students actively engaged in the study of medicine and biomedical sciences. The Medical School is located in the South End of the city of Boston, which is one of the greatest areas for biomedical research in the world.
