Position Description: |
The Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at Boston University invites applications for a
full-time lecturer position. The initial appointment is for two-years,
beginning January 1, 2024 and is renewable based on satisfactory performance.
Full-time lecturers are valued members of our department and it is common for
lecturers to serve on our faculty for many years. This position entails
teaching undergraduate courses, which may include general psychology,
statistics, research design and methods, experimental research (including
personality, perception, cognition, and neuroscience), psychology of
perception, physiological psychology, cognitive psychology, drugs &
behavior, social psychology, and other core courses in psychology. The teaching
load is three courses each semester. The position also involves advising of
undergraduates and supervision of graduate student teaching fellows. Boston
