The Department of Mass Communication, Advertising and Public Relations at Boston University
seeks to hire a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor with a solid research methods background
whose research advances public relations theory. The Department of Mass Communication,

The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in communication or a related field, as well
as an active program of social science research and the potential to develop a national or
international reputation as a public relations scholar. This Tenure-Track Assistant Professor will
be a Research Fellow in the university’s Communication Research Center, which is the College
of Communication’s research lab. Candidates for this position should have the capacity to teach
a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in BU’s Public Relations degree programs. The
