Position Description
The Brandeis Department of Music seeks a distinguished scholar at the rank of Associate Professor with tenure, or tenure-track Assistant Professor. The ideal candidate will have a record of top-tier publications, a strong teaching portfolio, and significant administrative experience. While the area of specialization is open, scholars with research interests in Jewish music and American music are especially encouraged to apply. We welcome applications from candidates with Ph.D.s in Musicology or Ethnomusicology. An interest in collaborating with other departments and divisions at Brandeis is a plus.
