The High-Energy Physics theory group of Prof. Julia Gehrlein in the Department of Physics, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado, seeks applications for a 2 year postdoctoral fellow position in theoretical particle physics with the possibility for a 1-year extension subject to available funding. The position will involve phenomenological studies of physics beyond the Standard Model, including but not limited to topics such as neutrino physics, dark matter, matter—anti-matter asymmetry, and particle cosmology.
Required Job Qualifications:
*PhD or equivalent degree in physics or related field by 09/01/2024
*Research experience in theoretical high energy particle and/or astroparticle physics
Preferred Job Qualifications:
*Ability to work independently on original research projects
*Strong record of scientific publication in peer reviewed journals
*Experience in computational physics and/or scientific computer programming
*Strong written and oral communication skills
*Strong teamwork and leadership skills
