Position Description
Postdoctoral positions in the Nuclear Theory Group at CCNU in 2024 A few postdoctoral positions are open in the nuclear theory group at Institute of Particle Physics (IOPP) of Central China Normal University (CCNU), Wuhan, China. Our group's interests include but are not restricted to (more information in Chinese can be found in http://qlpl.ccnu.edu.cn): -- AdS/CFT and its applications -- Deep learning for nuclear physics -- Effective field theory for nuclear structure -- Hard Probes of Quark-Gluon Plasma -- Lattice QCD at non-zero temperature and density -- Physics at EicC/EIC -- Relativistic Hydrodynamics -- Thermal Field Theory and Nuclear astrophysics The applicant should have a doctoral degree or expect to receive a doctoral degree in physics before the starting of the appointment. The starting date is the fall of 2024 and is negotiable. The appointment is initially for two years with a possible extension for a third year depending on the performance and the funding situation.
